My name is Xande (say it like Sean-g). I’m a Brazilian-American (almost adding Italian to this) designer who’s spent the last 25 years in California building products that feel as natural as a good conversation, always my hope at least. I’ve been lucky to work at Odopod, AKQA, Apple, Airbnb, Splunk, Meta, and Neon, each one teaching me something new about how people connect with technology, and at bars and restaurants that taught me so much about human-to-human connection and hospitality.
These days I’m Director of Product Design at Lattice, where I lead teams creating tools that help people grow at work. I still carry the warmth and improvisation I grew up with in Brazil, the belief that the best things are built with heart, not just process. I love being close to the work, dreaming big and making it happen.
But my life is way more than designing things. I love making pictures, being on a bicycle anywhere, learning new things, and spending time with people who expand my world, my wife Clara and our doggo Santo included.
Ah, before I forget, Brasil is pretty awesome!
